A Fourth of July Entertainment.
- tvlrs. A. Dunlap and a whole corps , of able (assistants, are organizing an entertainment to be given at the Opera House, on the evening ot the Fourth. Those who attended that eminently successful entertainment gotten up by the same parties several months ago, will-need no assurance from us to convince them that the forth coming entertaiment will be a brilliant success. Among the various features of the entertainment, will be a beautiful and affecting pantomime, “The Mistletoe . JJoughs'’ a “Fan Drill'’ by a battalion of beautiful young ladies; a Dramatic ... 'Performance, by a number -of talented performers: a burlesque “Broom Drill too funny for anything; plenty of jaasic, both vocal and instrumental, .and as sale bills say, “other articles oo numerous to mention.'” The admission prices are put at the popular figures of 85 and 25 cents, with a fifteen cent rate for the syounkins. The witnesses in the cases of the Travelors’ Insurance Co. versus Ak •Si Dent Al Inju-ro in this bailiwick, are ?all well known and liv-.' among us. They comprise merchants, mechanics, k-farmers*- pbysieiaus, laborers, cattle dealers, clerks, rail road employees . and druggists. More than 50 cases have already been tried and disposed . of, upon ex parte evidence, with the company's agents lor judge and jury- . mien. In every ease the claimant ha* been awarded and paid the fcu. -.amount of his or her claim. It will surSrisc many that these claims, paid at epsselaer, aggregate thousands of dollars. The money lias been paid to the injured, except in one case, it was paul \to his widow. The names of claimants and the amount received by each are . ,recorded in a book for that purpose, and ope u to the inspection of 11 < o pub - lie. It demonstrates the wisdom of .accident insurance, which can be bought in any quantity to suit the purchaser, at the Loan and Insurance ilureau. Frank W. Babcock, Agent.
