At the Marriage Altar.
Osborne—Warren. An altogether charming social event which took place last evening at the residence of Mr. E. L. Clark, on Van Rensseiar St., was the wedding of Mr. J. F. "W arren to Mrs. Clark’s sister, Miss Madge Osborne. Mr. Warren is the popular and genial Deputy County Auditor; while Miss Osborne is known to everybody in this vicinity, from her long and successful service as a teacher in the Rensselaer public schools; and her constant and ever cheerful participation in all good works. The ceremony took place shortly after 8 o’clock, in the presence of about fifty invited guests, and was pronounced by the Rev. T. C. Webster. Miss Alice Irwin and Mr. T. J. Farden were bridesmaid and groomsman, for the occasion. For the special benefit of our lady readers we will say that the bridal costume was of light tan-colored Ottoman cloth, trimmed in numberless folds of Oriental lace. After the ceremony and congratulations refreshments of ice-cream, strawberries and cake, were served. Following this came a brief season •of pleasant social intercourse, after which the guests gradually departed for their various homes, with each heart and voice full of good wishes-for the genial Frank and the gentle Madge. % The bridal presents were numerous, ornamental and useful.
