Weather cold and roads mudfiy. The farmers are busy plowing for corn. p Pleasant Grove school opened pros perously with Miss Ella Ryan as teacher. Mr. W. K. Parkison is on the sick list Mr.« Georg» Brown is erecting a new residence on his farm. ■ Mr. Nathan Eldridge says he has the best field of wheat in the county. 4 ._ Pleasant Grove is well supplied with old bachelors, call around young ladies. Mr. Smith Newell will soon begin work on the new church in Barkley tp. The North Lawn school has opened in good shape with Miss Anna Henkle as teacher. •Rev.
