Minister to the Netherlands.

Hou. Isaac Bell, Jr., appointed as Minister to. the Netherlands, was born at Newport, It. 1., in 1840, and still resides there. He married a sister of James Gordon Bennett, of the New York Herald. He was recently the Democratic candidate for United States Senator from Rhode Island.
