Receiver Shumway got rid of some War.

_ In the 'Newton Circuit court, at Kentland, last Thursday, Judge Ward removed P. fR Shumway from the Receivership of the Chicago A Great Southern Railway, uuid appointed W«. Foster, of Goodland, as Reoeiver. This removal and appointment means, as 'we take it, that Crawford is badly 'beaten in his attempt to avoid spaying the honest claims against sbe void, and that if he does not pay them himself Mr. Crawford will do it instead.
