' DeMotte had no trains for a week, on account of snow blockade. Our brimstone preacher gave us a call, last week, but it was so cold he did not light up. The citizens of Keener are highly pleased with the derision of Judge Ward, in regard to the Wartner case. Had the citizens of Keener been thoroughly convinced of his guilt, at the inquest of Dreger, they might have saved the county considerable expanse.
