An Exposition Poem.
The following poem was composed ahd read iu the palace ear- '‘Natchez,” of J. F. Merry’s Teachers’ excursion to New Orleans, on the homeward bound trip, January 1880, by an Indiana teacher', well known in Rensselaer, Miss Celia E. Hi* circulars waited through cduiUry and town And many tliere were, who without a frown Poked their clothes in a grip, anil their lunch in a s box, Regardless of travel’s kicks and knocks.
