A Word to Our Patrons.
There are at present a large number of our subscribers who are iu arrears oii their subscriptions. "While these amounts are hot large individually, qollectively they make a considerable sum of money, and qtiie which we badly heed at this lime. We dislike to dun ahyone, yet we are compelled so to do, and wh trust that within the next few weeks we may have rhany responses to this appeal. the printer paid up, ahd he can then furnish a much better paper, than if be has to wait so long for hlfc money.

Died. —Joseph Eigle&bach, a young man of about 22 years of age, sou of Caspar Eiglesbaeli, of this place, died, last week, at Kearney, Neb., of typhoid fever. His remains Were brought to this place, his former home, and were buried in the Catholic cemetery last Monday. The funeral was ‘conducted after tlie rites of the Catholic church, and was largely attended. Yoting Eiglesbach was a native of Jasper cotinty, and had lived here all his life until about a year a£o, when he went to Neln-aska. The disease of which he died is said to lie raging as an epidemic in the place where he died. } Renssefaef Post No. 84, Dept, 'of Ind. G. A.
