A Misterious Case.

The case of Mark Harris, a young man of 19 or 20, son of Mrs. James T. Randle, of this place, is one that baffles the skill of every physician that has examined into it, either to cure or diagnose. Some 15 or 18 months ago he was taken with a severe pain in the breast. Since that time his health has steadily declined, and his form has wasted away to a shadow. Several of the physicians of Rensselaer have exhausted their skill upon him without avail, as have also two medical men from Newton county. He has made a long stay at the medical sanitarium at Battle Creek, Michigan, bat without beneficial results. For many months he has lain at Mr. Randle’s house, con- % 1 stantly growing weaker and thinner, and there is now scarcely room to hope that the end will be delayed much longer. On Tuesday evening an electric physician, from Plymouth, began to treat the unfortunate youth, but whether he will succeed better than the more regular practitioners of the healing art, is much to be hoped for, but hardly to be expected.
