The Circuit Court.
o Durihg the October term of the Jasper circuit court the following criminal cases were disposed of: Geo. Btitz, of Remington, Arson, charged with setting tire- to his own butcher simp, and thus being the cause of the last destructive fire that visited that place. The indictment was nolle pressed, and Stitz held in SSOO bail to appeal at the next term. John Gant, charged with pointinK and aiming tirc-ariris. Case dismissed for failure to prosecute. John Way mire, Felonious assault. Tried by jury and defendant acquitted. John H. Handreita, Robbery. Discharged on this indictmeut, wus fined and costs on plea or guilty of assault, and battery. G. M. Wilcox, Assault. Flead guilty arid fined $1 and costs. August Fritz, Illegal sale of Liquor, Fined §2O and costs.
