Wood Threatens to Contest Owen’s Flection.

Special Telegram to-the Tiit -i'-IHieAn 1 Looansport, Ind., Nov. 10.— Thomas Jefferson Wood, Democrat, has announced'his intention of contesting the seat of the Hon. \V; D. Owe.,, who received a majority of 4SG for Congress at the recent election. Wood has no ground for the contest, and receives little support from the Democrats of the district. He was the laughing stock of the last Congress, and the Democrats of the House will hardly support his election.
