Norway is the only place in Europe where ice water is placed in the railway cars. It has been discovered that many of London’s famous meat pies are made of the flesh of dead horses. A Georgia man killed his sweetheart and then poisoned the melon patch in order to get rid of the rest of the family. A shark eight and a half feet long and weighing 408 pounds was caught in the North River at New York recently. Combination salads are the latest. They are made of a “little of everything,” and nobody wants to be helped a second time. Sharks are reported to be ascending the Hudson River in unusual numbers.
