A solemn-looking citizen appeared at Police Headquarters, and, beckoning the chief into a private room, said,: “You know that SBOO robbery at my house that I reported yesterday morning?” “Certainly, and I have put two of our best men on the case, and ” “Well, I—ahem —I have decided not to pursue the matter.
