The name of Mr. Hendricks will not, under the circumstances, add any strength to the ticket. The convention had just resolved that Mr. Hendricks was first in the affections of his party. After that resolution, the placing hijn as second to a man so wholly his inferior, so little known, and with so Small a record as Mr. Cleveland, was an insult to his self-respect. Four years ago Mr. Hendricks refused to take second place with Mr. Tilden, and it is i-hsrd to-see hoW he can accept it with Mr. Cleveland.—[lndianapolis Times. ‘
