FROM GILLAM.
Weather pleasant and rdads dusty. Farmers are busy plowing eurn. Oats look well. Health is generally good with a few exceptions. Mrs. A. G. Robb and Mrs A. W. Ptevo are on the sick lieit. Miss Anna Deselms. Miss Abbey Mason and M. E. O. Rathfon landed in G Ham on Saturday last. The rest of tie Terre Haute Band expect to return next week. Gillam can boast of four Sabbath 'schools this summer, all us which are in very good progress, and we hope much good may be accomplished. The Good Templars Lodge is still in a prosperous condition. The little band has been increased to thirty members at present. Miss Rebecca Osborne expects to attend school at Valparaiso «oon. The schools of Gihiam will close in two weeks giving the teachers and advanced pupils a rest of one .
