The Indianapolis Sentinel (Democrat) says that things begin to look as though the only way by which Tilden can escape the reto die. Other democratic authority, as good as the Sentinel, say that if Tilden dies they will nominate his bones. The supplement which accompanies this issue of the Republican contains the official call for the precinct mass conventions to l>e held June 21st. for the election of delegates to the various district conventions. The call will probably not be published again, and we advise all our Republican readers, who are residents of Jasper county, to preserve the supplement for study and reference, until after the conventions.
