WALKER QOSSIE. Oats look well! Farmers Ore all through planting com. Mr. Edward Tafaner is buildiug a new barn, which, when finished, will be the finest in the township. Miss Jenhie Tanner talks of spending the coming summer at the Gillam Normal. E. M. Gtiard, who has been visiting friends in Marshall county the past spring is expected home next week. The Sunday school at Hogan school is flourishing under the worthy teachers. Cne-of-um.
REMINGTON ITEMS, Mrs. E. N. Hyland, of Rensselaer, is the guest of Mr. and Mrg. John G, Tharp. Miss Branham and Miss Dunn took their 4 e P arture last Friday for their home in Indianapolis, accompanied by Mrs. E. H. Briggs, who goes to attend the wedding of her brother, Frank Davidson, the singer and elocutionist will give one of his enjoyable entertainments on Saturday, evening, June 14th. All who have had the pleasure of hearing Mr. Davidson will be glad to hear him again. Children’s Day was observed with appropriate - services at the M. E. church on Sunday last; The Church was handsomely decorated with ferns and flowers and the exercises were very interesting. Cards are out for the wedding of Miss Jennie Norris and Will A. Hollingsworth on the 10th of this mouth. Both parties are well known and many friends will tender heartfelt congratulations. Bebe June, the bright little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Tnbby, died very suddenly on Monday of last week. The remains were taken to Cincinnati for burial. Mrs. Julia White (uee Nelson) and little daughter are visiting friends and relatives in this place.
