Mr. Edward A. Perkins who removed to Spring Garden, Florida, from the vicinity of Goodland 8 few months ago, sot the benefit of the health of his wife, formerly Myrtie Henkle, of this place, is well pleased with his new location. So much so, in fact that he breaks out into poetry an account of it as the following from the Mishawaka Enterprise, from his pen, will testifiy: * OUB FLORIDA HOME In far off Indiana. I left my home behind me, The home I loved bo well: I love my friends and neighbors. But there is one to me idote dear, "Whose failing health induced me, To «cek asylum here. "1 met with opposition J'rom those I left behind, Who prophesied my failure, Of health and wealth to £nd. J came on all undaunted,. By alight that they might say, And now I see the wisdom, In the steps I took that wnv. Six weeks I've been in Florida; Six weeks from sorrow free. I'm settled in my cottage,, And am happy as yon see.
