The Misfortunes of The Monon.
The ran of ill-luck which lias been pursuing the L., N. A. & G. for „ many weeks still continues. It suffered greater damage from the snow blockade than any other road, in the state, and on Saturday three or four fine- passenger cars were burned at New Albany, occasioning a loss of probably $15,00*.'; and on Monday night the second section of a north bound freight train ran into the first section, at Carr’s tank, piling the caboose and coal car on the first train and the engine of the second in a promiscuous heap. The wreck caught fire from the stove in the caboose, and in a short time the engine and two cars were totally destroyed. The wreck caused a delay of several hours to senger trains.
