The entertainsaerit given by the Ladies Aid Society, of the Presbyterian church, on the evening of | the 12th, was a very gratifying I success, socially; and the fact that 565 in clear money was deposited from the proceeds for the benefit of the parsonage fund is sufficient evidence that it was also a financial success.
