Mr. P. M. Querry, wife and sister, have returnod, after a short visit at their old homestead in Kansas. They look hale and hearty. Mr. Frank Dunn and family have also returned from Kansas. Me will again be a citizen of our township, afttjr an absence of about two years. Messrs. J. D. Brown and C. W. Faris, paid their Gill am friends a flying visit on Sunday last. They report their schools in a flourishing condition. Mr. James Conard was happily surprised the other day, while at Medaryville, he was told, that there was some one at the {lotjel who wished to see him. So he walked leisurely down to see what was wanted. To his great surprise, their sat his aged parents waiting to greet him. The reader can easily guess what followed. The schools of Gfflam are all in good
progress.
