Esq. Smith has just finished putting a new coat, both inside arid out, to his office and shop. Timber stealing is still good, judging rom the way wood, posts, &c., are coming in. Tanner & Mulder are having i twostory warehouse built. Rose Lawn Post (1. A. R., will occupy the second story as a Post Hall. Comrade Vanderwalker, of Hammond. Ind., mustering officer G. A. R., came down and organized Rose Lawn Poet, No. 353, Department of Indiana, G. A. 11., last Saturday night. After being mastered, the Post elected the following officers: y, C.—ll. W. Marshall, S. V.
