There was a good attendance at the ,PresteFt*.a«a -cbßr-okiAfe ing, and in the evening the house was filled with an attentive audience, there being no other church service in town, j Such a gathering together of the mem- : bers of all the churches in a voluntary { Union service, manifests the preval- 1 ence of an excellent brotherly spirit among Christian professors here. There was a larger attendance than usual at the Sunday school in the morning, which bids fair for a good winter’s j work ahead,’which every friend of (he Sunday school should turn out and help to push along. . The Ladies Aid Society will,- meet on Friday this week at ? r rg. Dexters, (Nowels House,) for an all day quilting, bringing their dinners with them.
