Ohio 5000 DemocraticThe result of, Tuesdays elections leaves the political situation of tho county as mm h of an uncertainly as ever, and taking both states togethor may fairly be called a drawn battle. The Hon. Burin R. sherman, is reelected governor of lowa, by probably .20,000 majority. In Ohio, according to a dispatch received last evening, the democrats have probably elected their candidate for governor by a majority of five thousand. The legislature is very close, and claimed by both sides. An indignation meeting was held at Fowler in regard to the appointment of P. -S. Gorkins to the Fowler post-office. Speeches and letters of the usual sort were make and read. We are reminded of the story of the virgins and bridegroom.— [Oxford Tribune.
