Cleveland will start East to-day or to-mor-row for an all-winter’s sojourn, among friends and relatives. Cleveland, Ohio, will be their stopping place for some time. Messis-. W. J. lines and George Norris, with their families, reached their new place of residence, Franklin, Neb., on Friday, the 21st ult. Mr. Imes took possession of his fcirm last Monday.

There have been very material improvements made on the Rensselaer Republican in the last' week or two. A new Cylinder press has been added to the office, and the paper is considerably enlarged.—[Rochester Republican.) The New Miijl.— The machinery for a new mill has arrived, and work has begun upon the same, at the site chosen, on the west side of Division street, a little north of the railroad. Mr. A. AV. Madden, lately partner, for a short time, of Mr. N. V, Cleaver, in the hardware business, has removed to Wilmington, Ohio, where he wil 1 take care of the person and the estate of a wealthy and aged bachelor uncle. Mr. Cleaver will conduct the hardware business without a partner.
