A quarrel over the rigjit of one woman to get water from a well was the cause of the matinee. A revolver figured conspicuously in the hands of the attacking party, who snapped a deadly weapon at her antagonist several times, and failing to make it respond, in an effective manner, to the pressure on the trigger, she assaulted her victim with the butt ot the revolver, cutting the scalp on her forehead, but inflicting no fatal injury.
