The Public Debt Statement for July shows a reduction during the month of $7,900,590. It is stated on pretty good authority that $3,800 were taken in at the ticket wagon on circus day. A larger sum, by the way, than was ever paid to The Republican, on delinquent subscriptions, during any one period of two weeks, since the paper was established.
Attica Ledger. The effort to popularize the Mother Hubbard dress in this city will have to be given up.
