What a School Desk Should be.

It is true the life of a teacher is full of hard, tough points, and among the most aggravating is, after a tiresome dav’s toil, to have to clean the School room, which all country teachers have to do, and with the desks that mostly occupy our School houses, it becomes a hard religion losing, task, because of the desks. To make thi3 easy, the desk should have both a folding seat, and top, a place to put the necessary text books of the pupil, and should be so constructed as to make little or *no noise when being so folded, and should be well and strongly made, that the tax for special school purposes may not become onerous. All these things are included in the “Victor” school desk, for which F. J. Sears & Son, are agents. They have all the requisites of a perfect school desk, and are fully warranted for 10' years, and any teacher would feel like saying “glory” if they found their room supplied with the “Victor.”
