UNION ITEMS.

Grazing is good. Meadows look unusually well. Oar wheat crop will be short. Our schools are progressing iinely. Com planted early has rotted in the ground. Three new roads have been viewed and reported upon favorably, in this tp. recently. We anticipate a change of weather, from cold to warm, at the summer solstice, on the 21st of June. Two moro large ditches have been proposed in this vicinity. One of them, at least, will be “put to grind” in the June Term of Court. Every body is settling (quietly down into the new hog-law harness. Penning swine, raising fences, stretching barbed wire, sowing clover seed and making all other arrangements necessary to comply with law and order.
