Rensselaer Republican, Volume 15, Number 30, Rensselaer, Jasper County, 5 April 1883 — The House that Jack Built. [ARTICLE]
The House that Jack Built.
(From the Missouri Republican.) ‘MVe have seceived a novelty m the literary line, ’‘A Parody on the House that Jack Built,” intended for the millions. It is a sparkling little book, handsomely illuminated, well adapted to bring joy to tlie little ones, and it cannot fail to amuse the older people. Inasmuch as it is instructive, as well as entertaining, its value is greater than any of the Motiier Goose melodies. It is not the less valuable because a three-eent stamp sent to “Corticeili,” bt. Louis, Mo., will procure a copy.’’
