He that hearkeneth unto Counsel is Wise.
Notwithstanding the great benefit the teeth derive from the use of the tooth brush, a short time before retiring, many people are much more negligent than they should be. The tooth brush, and pure dentrifice, used properly, tends to preserve the teeth, which are the prime organs of mastication. The use of the brush beiug omitted, and decay allowed to progress, we must expect odontalgia, or so called (tooth-ache.) Though we extract teeth, positively without pain or harm, does not signify that you should allow decay to progress to that extent, just for the puypose of experiencing the pleasant sensation produced by the vitalized air. Possessing the requisite skill to perform first class dental operations is one great feature, and keoping up witli the times, and purchasing the best and latest improved instruments, so as to give our patrons the benefit of modern improvements, is another very important point to be taken into consideration. Having secured the services of J. W. Horton, who is not only a good operator, but is always ready to give information to those requesting it, in regard to the preservation of their teeth; we cordially invite those wishing such information to call at Dr. I. C. Kelley’s Dental P.ooms, over Imes & Meyer’s drug store. No charge for consultation.
