Great Circus.
The L. N-A & C. R. R. will run a, special Train to Chicago, next Saturday Jan., 13$i 1883, leaving Rensselaer at 9.46 a. m. returning, leave Chicago at 7.30 p. m. same day. Fare for round trip SI.BO, return tickets will be good to, and including, night train of Monday Jan., 15th 1883. Dexter, Surgeon; *J. 3. Clay pool, Chaplain-: C. P. Hopkins, Officer of the Day; S. Hemphill, Officer of the Guard; M. E. Baylor, Quartermaster; Jas. A. Burnham, Adjutant. Marriage Licenses. —Since the last reports the following couples have been licensed to marry Geo. W. Zimmerman and Adeline Wilson; William Johnson and Elizabeth C. Waller; Cyril Steele and Sarah E. Remley; Geo. W T . Houser and Sarah Randall; Jerome L. Jones and Jennie Steward; Elias B. Brewer and Mattie E. Faulkner; David F. Venrick and Alice James H. Fisher and Mary M. Kays; James W. Nelson and Delphina Grant; Henry K. Payne and Maggie M. Letherman; Erastus B. Winters and Mary E. Zard; John Harbolt and Lillian K. Miner; John C. F. Pierson and Clarinda A. Dean; George W. Ballard and Mary F. Ray. In aclition to the above one considerably too previous citizen from the northern part of the county obtained, a license to marry a young lady before he had taken the natural precaution of ascertaining whether such an arrangement met her views, on the eternal fitness of things, or not. The result is that the heedless man has a new marriage license on his hands which he can neither use nor sell.
