The Rev. McDade will preach at Pilot Grove next Sunday. Joseph Clark proposes to remove to Decatur, Indiana, next week. Mrs. L B. Washburn is visiting friends in Oass county. Charles Brown, ol: Logansport, is in town, will probaly start a cigar factory Jbere in the near future. Dr. Jamfis "Ritchey, has improved his home property. Mrs. Stir Iliff of Jordan township is sick of Erysipelas. Mrs. Dern, mother of Dern Bros., fell fractured an arm a few days siaee. Mr. Frank Eaker, of Chicago, is visiting his sister, Miss Rosa, this week, at F. J. Sears. * * Mr. John Parris, was up from Oxford to spend New Years with his triends here. Mr. G. if, Daugherty is visiting friends in Fairbury and Bloomington in 111. Messrs Wm Louke and M. FKirby, of Clinton county, are visiting Mr. S. King and other friends in Rensselaer. \ Mr. Lyman Williams, of Fairbury, 111., wo lias been here, visiting his brother Joseph, and other friends and relatives, returned home^atujfday. Mr. W.& Domer, principal of the Milford schools, and a cultured and pleasant gentleman, who has been visiting friends here for a week, returned home this moraing. Prof. W. H.
