The Spy of Atlanta.
A Beautiful Allegory of the war of the rebellion in six acts, will be produced at the Opera House at Rensselaer commencing on Monday evening Dec. 25th, Mi*. Edward Wodiska the talented young actor who our citizens remember as having played the sculptor in the Marble heart so well this season with Felix A. Vincent, has been engaged for the role “the spy.” The best amature talent of ourn tow will support him, and we can assure our people that they will give a performance far m advance of any ever given here before. The play is one of deep interest to every true american heart, being a truthful picture of our late war from the fireing of the first gun at Sumpter until the surrender of Lee at Ru&mond. It is interspersed with recruit drill, camp and battle scenes, on scout. The prison pen at Andersonville, The soldiers dream of home, Tableaux of Secession, Submission and closing by the realistic scene and tableaux of Decorating our heros graves. Admission being only 25 & eta, we they will be greeted with packed houses.
