DeMotte had consented to return to Jasper eounty, and Will meet the following appointments: Monday, Oct. 30th, at Remington, 7 ocloek p. m* Tuesday, 31st, SAnd Ridge school house, Barkley township, 7 p. m. Wednesday Nov. Ist, Center School house, Keener township, at 7 o’clock p. m. Mathew H. Walker, Republican candidate for Prosecuting Attorney, is filling appointments in Jasper county this week under the auspices of our Central Committee. Mr. W alker is a lawyer of acknowledge ability. If elected, as he surely will be, he will bring into the office an experience and talent second to none in the circuit «nd will be a terror to evil doers.
