THE FAIR

A short but severa indisposition w holly prevented the edi tor of the Republican from attending the fair, and consequently renders impossible any tail and complete report. The weather was propitious, and financially at least the fair was a success. The attendance was good, especially on Thursday when the people present exceeded in number those of any previous day in the history of the fair. The list of premiums as awarded is not yet quite ready or publication, bnt will appear at an early day.
