We know of tonny Remingtoniana who intend to help bwell the throng on Wednesday and ThunGay. We hope that everybody will have a grand good time. We like theee annual g <therings. We like to aee what nature’and science and mechanical skill can nocompliah, even if it ia in a limited ‘way, but above all, we like to meet and greet ao many of our fellow travelera on the way to the“umlescovored country.” A Turner has reached ua, and we hope it la without foundation, that .the Rev. J. B. Crowe ia about to leave Remington. Every body irrespective of denomatioual prejudice will be aorry to hear thia. He has been hare so loug and his influence has so long boon exerted for good among us, that it seems to us almost wrong to let him go, if it is possible to keep him. Wo hope that steps may be taken to induce Mr. Crowe and hia estimable family to remain with us. It has alwasy seemed to ua, however, that a man of Mr. Crowes well known ability aud reputation, as a acho.ar ' and a Christian, should command a wider field Of labor.
