Riding on a Cloud-Bust.
A. 8. Holley, while hunting on Squsw Creek btttife, Indian Territory, encountered a cloud-burst torrent He was in a gulch, heard the warning, saw a mighty ware of water rolling down fire feet in depth, and attempted to escape; but before he oould get out of the gulch the wall of water struck him and took about a mile, and Anally threw him on some brush in an unoonsoiouS condition. When he came to it was dark, and he was compelled to remain out all night He got home next day in a very demoralized condition. A heavily-charged cloud had come in contact with the butte, and, bursting, pohred its accumulated waters out Mr. Holley is the only man who ever had such an adventure and lived to tell it That he escaped as he did is —Boise Democrat.
