THE MONTICELLO BAPTIST ASSOCIATION.

The Monticello Baptist Assocition comprises all the baptist churches in the counties of Jasper, Newton, and White. Their regular annual meeting is now in session in the baptist church here and will continue until Saturday. The first meeting was held Wednesday, the Rev. J. G. Tcdford, preaching the introductory sermon at 2 o’clock. The following clergymen, and other notable people are attending the association: Rev. \V. N. Wyeth of i.ndianapolis, editor Journal and Messenger, Revs. J. G. Tedford, Monticello, I). ■J. Huston, Goodland, "m. Deßoid, Frankfort, M. C. Clark, Camden, E. M. Me Graw. Fulton county, A. H. Dooley, Iroquois Co., 111, A. J. Putman, Pilot Grove and Mr. W. M. ChaiH'o of Indianapolis, editor the .Indiana Baptist.
