A great many cattle grazing in Keener this year, and doing splendidly. The boys and girls had such a good time at the Bowery Dance, Fourth of July evening nt Bentley’s Grove that they are going to have another Friday evening of this week. Dr. Antrim returned from his Kansas trip on the morning of the 4th. He reports crops to be flourishing and storms likewise. The Fourth of July celebration at Bentley’s Grove, in this township was one of the most entirely sensible and enjoyable affairs of the kind we ever attended. The Presi<kr.t of the day. Mr.'ll. W. Marshall, disciwirged the duties of bis position to perfection. . In bis opening address, which was most appropriate to the occasion, he contrived to so fasten the attention of the entire assembly upon the exercises of the day that their interest remained unflagging to the end. Of the principal oration of the day, delivered by Cipl. F. W. Babcock, of Rensselaer, the native modesty of Mr. Babcock prevents us from speaking of as we otherwise would. From first to last the attention of the entire audience was riveted upon the speaker, and we but echo the sentiments of all present when we any that a more interesting and instructive Fourth of July address was never beard in Keener township. Mr. M. A. Whiteley, Toledo Ohio, writes: “After trying all advertised medicines for nervous weakness and early decay 1 gave up in despair and resigned myself to the seemingly inevitable—a premature grave. Happening to bear a druggist recommend Brown’s Iton Bitters for dizziness I bought myself a bottle. Inm most agreeably surprised to find myself restored to perfect health strength and innuhood. I feel sure the cure is permanent yet in future I intend to observt more carefully the laws of health.’’ Take Ayer’s Pills for all the purposes of a purgedvk. for constipation, indigesiion, headache, and liver complaint. By universal accord they are the best of all purga.yves for family um. j.
