Rev. Thompson, assisted by Rev, Thomas Guild of Greencastle, held a basket meeting ? last Sunday, and all had an enjoyable Grab, with, plenty of the bounties of providence spread,on nature's broad table.' Notwithstanding the extreme wet weather crops are looking very well.' The new postofflce, De Motte, is almost in running order, anil the people are huppy. Swain and Marshall are roaming over the country buying cattlo. We are expecting a grand entertainment at our fourth of July celebration at DcMotto. Bi*y.
