A meeting of the sotdiei s of Jasper county, and vicinity is hereby called to be held at the court house in Rensselaer, on Saturday the 17th day of June, 1882, at 1 o’clock p. M., to consider: First, The holding of a re-union the coming fall -when and where. Second, The propriety and feasibility of organizing a Post G. A. R. at Rensselaer. Third, Any other business that may properly come before said meeting. An invitation is extended to all citizens who may feel interested, to attend. A full turn-out of the soldiers is very desirable at that time, so that their wishes may be known. By request of many soldiers J. A. Burnham, V. P. Soldiers’ Dist. Association for Jasper County.
