The primary Election.

Republican Voters Attention.: —The Republican County Central Committee, at a meeting on Saturday May 6th, agreed upon the following rules and regulations for conducting the primary election to be held Thursday, June Ist, 1882: Ist Election to be held at the usual voting The members olj the different township executive committees to act as inspector and .judges of election. ‘2nd. In townships having more thpn one voting precinct, the township committee will decide upon a place for hoicking the election, and give due and early notice of the same. 3rd. The poll books and tally sheets, of the various townships to be returned to the county central committee, on or before the Saturfollowing, the election.by the chairman, or some other member of the township committee. The county committee will act as a canvassing board to count the votes and de-, clare the result. Poll, books, tally sheets, and ballots will be furnished by the county committee. Upon the ballots so furnished, under, the heads of the different offices to be filled, w j)l be printed the names of all the known candidates for the offices, and the voter will prepare liis ballot by erasing with pen or pencil, all names except the one he wishes to vote for. The central committee recommend that the votes of all legal voters who will be willing to support the Republican county nominations in the November election, be acpepted. ■ It is desirable that every Republican jn the several townships of the county, attend the primary election. Do not fail to be present early and bring your Republican neighbors with you, and let us nominate a tioket that will be elected by an overwhelming majority, and one of which we will all be, proud.
