Slaughter of Game in Arkansas.

The floods in the overflowing districts hate crowded game of all kinds into narrow districts and parties of hunters, organized at various points, are, it is reported now camped along Crowley’s Ridge and other dry slips of lajid, slaugtering deer, wolves, sexes, beaver, mink and other animals by the thousand. Deer and other game are so exhausted by hunger and the struggle with the floods that they can be shot down in droves. They are killed for their hides, which are shipped here and to* other points for sale. The meat of the slaughtered animals, except enough to feed the hunters, is thrown away. There is no game law in this state;
