Drinking Among Women.

[Chicago News.] Among women in the nighest walks of life in Chicago liquor drinking at.d drunkenness is fearfully common. Dr, Duncan says he could count twenty such cases, first and last in his practice. He says that the women living in fashionable hotels and boarding houses are in a shocking number of Cases inebriates. In many cases they have completely broken up their homes and gone headlong to ruin. He attributes it to late suppers, indigestion and idleness, and says that it is almost impossible to treat such cases without such an asylum as the ladies propose to establish. Dr. flingley states that drunkenness In its very worst forms will be found in some or the houses of the T ery first families in the city.
