American Heßister. illustrative of the spirit of fanaticism of the Turks, an incident this week has led to an exchange of a serious communication between Russia, and the Sublime Porte. On Tuesday last two Aussulmans.said to have been far gone under the influence of drink, were quarreling in a case ip Stamboul. The dispute waxed so hot at last one drew a knife and threatened to stab the other. Just at the moment a Russian priest happened to pass the case, whereupon the drunken fellow changed his mind and saying: “Bah I it is better to kill a Giaour than one of the trup faith,” rushed after the priest and inflicted a severe stab in his head and neck.
