Jordan Township Items.
Our worthy county school superintendent visited the Jordan schools last week and reports them in r. good healthy working condition, with attendance frorr fair to very good, wcich speaks well for our teachers and for the interest shown Joy patrons ->nd pup’ls. ■ It is reported that Mr. John W. ; Suits, who removed f rom Jordan to Chicago last Spring, is about to return to make liis permanent home here. Wears glad to hear ’t, as John was a good * neighbor, and a worthy citi :en, Out worthy young friends, Samuel Lemson and Morion L. Tim. mons are to occupy and cultivate the old Lamson farm now held by Mr. James Kay. Where Mr. Kay wii! remove to we have not learned. .A few of on” citizens in the northwestern part of Jordan show symptom* of a disease hitherto unknown in our community, which ib becoming quite prevalent in older settled communities. The symptoms as developed are In a mild form with ns, however, and reed ict create exisnsna alarm. The disease is known as the Dakota fe^er.
