We make this change in order to give our readers & greater amount of reading matter, and also to give osr advertisers better positions. In making this change we must necessarily be to larger expense than heretofore, which will oblige ns to adopt a new method in regard to subscription rates, as follows: In advance, per year, $1.50; after three months,sl.7s; after six months, $2. These terms afe not applicable to present delinquents, who settle up their arrearages before the 15th of next month and pay in advance for the ensuing year. We desire to make The Republican a firstclass county newspaper, and give our readers more home news than they can obtain 'in any other way, and in order to do this past experience teaches us that We must adopt more stringent methods with regard to delinquents.
