Political Love Story.

The son of an old Jackson Democrat living near the Maryland in Pennsylvania, having been successful injiis suit for the affections of a young lady, asked his sire one day after dinner for permission to marry. The old gentleman loweied his spectacles, and glancing over them for a moment or two, quietly asked: “What is her father?
