John Ritchie and wife, of Topeka, Kansas, and Mrs. Jane Robinson, of Indianapolis, are visiting their brothers, Drs- James and Samuel Ritchie, of Rensselaer. J. C. Vanßensselser returned home last week. Miss Edwards, of Detroit, Mich., was the guest of the Bev. and Mrs. A Taylor last week. She returned home Monday. The Rev. A Taylor will probably g y to Ohio next week, on business. We are pleased to see our young friend, Ben Morgan again on the streets. His rheumatism has kept him in-doors about three months and itwill probably keep him from work'for some time to come. J. V. W. Kirk has gone to Logansport, where he has secured a situation as clerk in a dry-goods store. . Horace Peacock is prospecting for a foatune among tho sand-hills of New Mexico.,
